We are pleased to welcome Dr. Jessica Holland to our team of experienced general surgeons at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Center.

Dr. Holland completed her medical school at the University of British Columbia, in Vancouver, before continuing her training in Genera Surgery with a residency at the University of Toronto in 2020. She went on to a Colorectal fellowship in Montreal at McGill University completing this along with a Master’s degree in Science (Experimental Surgery).

Her research interests are in improving the quality of life for patients follow colorectal surgery, with a particular interest in Low Anterior resection syndrome (LARS), and a focus on evidence based medicine.

Dr. Holland is a colorectal surgeon with a special interest in benign anorectal disease, complex inflammatory bowel disease, and colon and rectal cancer. She is trained in minimally invasive colorectal and transanal surgical techniques. Dr. Holland is committed to providing high-quality care to patients in Thunder Bay and the surrounding areas.

Dr. Holland currently runs her elective practice out of the Medical Centre.
