Dr. W. Harris completed Medical school at the University of Toronto and a surgical residency at McMaster University. He then went on to complete a fellowship in ERCP (minimally invasive endoscopic technique to treat diseases affecting the liver and pancreas), as well as a Msters in Public Health from Harvard University. Originally from Southern Ontario Dr. Harris alongside his family moved to Thunder Bay in 2006, since then he has been practicing as a General Surgeon at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre.

Dr Harris currently runs his practice out of the Medical Centre.

Dr. Harris offers Telemedicine appointments for new and existing patients.

Dr. Harris is currently the only surgeon in Thunder Bay who preforms the ERCP procedure.
